Estate Pinot Noir
Wine
Home Hill Estate Pinot Noir is drawn from Tasmania's Huon Valley. On the same latitude as Bordeaux in France, the climate of cold winters and abundant spring rain create ideal growing conditions.
Fermentation occurs with a mix of natural and cultured yeasts. Some whole bunch inclusion adds complexity and texture. After several weeks on skins, the wine matures in new and seasoned French oak for 10 months.
Bright crimson, Home Hill Estate Pinot Noir is intensely aromatic with red berry flavours, savoury spice, soft tannins and a velvety finish. Cellaring potential is nine years.
